I will be honest. Life happens. In the past 13 months, I haven’t left home. Not even to visit my mother in Florida.

My husband had a knee replacement in the spring, and we’ve just had things going on. It’s just been busy at home, not to mention all the animals around that needed care.

So I have been home. I haven’t even done a runDisney event!

But the last week of September 2025 ended my stay-at-home streak. My husband and I went to North Carolina and then down to Florida.

And I will be perfectly honest, it is hard to talk and write about travel when you are not traveling. It is hard to find that spark of inspiration.

So here I am traveling again. I have a sister coming to visit in December, and I will be taking some short trips with her. Of course, I have the upcoming Princes at Walt Disney World to run.
